WTF Happened to RUE THE DAY??!!

Well, Kiddies, it goes like this......
We had alot of fun and kicked alot of ass, put out a killer CD jam packed with metal - we were almost in line for the fuckin tattoos.... when I get an email from the UK.....

They wrote us before; they said. The name of the band - RUE THE DAY! "Stop releasing CDs, that's our name - you know!"  Shit, we said. Through much research and question asking, all we found out is that we should have looked into the name a bit more before investing a year into it.

 Now get this, folks - we have (had) the same name, genre (kick ass metal band!) started playin almost at the same times on two separate ends of the world. Nice. Well, nice as a story - sucks to be the losing band in the "he who got there first" game. They were even up less than 3 weeks b4 our original myspace...
THREE WEEKS!!
But, their CD was out months b4 ours, and to their total defense, they DID in fact leave a MySpace message back during recording days and they are being totally nice about the whole thing. Funny little side note - one of the first names we picked out was "Wasted Thrash Monkeys from Hell." Figured, who'd have THAT?? A little research.... "THRASH MONKEYS" was taken and while it wasn't being used much; I couldn't take it if a year from now they came up and said "HEY! we were here first..."
and they'd be right....... likeness and all..

SOO.... we love OSCAR and his story so much that THIS is the deciding factor. With the implementing of the MySpace page and the close release (re-release) of the original 14 track CD, we're in.
